The November 16, 2002, Executive Board meeting of ARCC, Inc. was called to order at 1325 by President David Laustsen, W3LAW, at the Holiday Inn, Fort Washington, PA.

Members/Guests attending included:

Treasurer’s Report: Vince Bardsley, KB3OM, reported a checking account balance of $3,132.12; savings account balance of $3,782; and cash on hand of $110.00.

Bill Ferguson, WA3BXW, was appointed judge of election and he opened the members’ ballots received. He reported that all those nominated were elected and there were no write-in votes.

ARCC has been petitioned by Hunterdon and Warren Counties in NNJ to take on coordination for those areas and a discussion followed. On a motion by Vince Bardsley, KB3OM, seconded by Al Maslin, N3ES, the draft proposal was adopted, accepting Hunterdon and Warren Counties into ARCC’s service territory pending receipt of concurrence from our neighboring coordination councils. The motion passed unanimously.

Database Manager Jeff DePolo reported that a request for coordination had been received for a repeater just outside ARCC’s area. Following a discussion on the issues, the operator will be advised that we are unable to assist and that the request would be forwarded to MetroCor for consideration.

Vice President – Administration Gene Pressler, W3ZXV, reported that the ARCC By-Laws (which have not been revised since first adopted in 1995) are in need of review. Some changes were discussed and it was decided that a draft would be circulated among members of the Board for additions and corrections and that a final draft would then be submitted for action by the membership.

President (and newsletter editor) Dave Laustsen, W3LAW, invited attendees to submit articles for the ARCC newsletter, either by e-mail or otherwise.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 1430 hours.

Respectfully submitted: Roger Purdy, W2NWL, Secretary
