President David Lausten called the April 20th 2002 Executive board meeting of ARCC to order at 12:30 P.M.

It was reported that V.P Gene Pressler could not be present, as he had been hospitalized with a heart problem, all present wished Gene a speedy recovery.
A discussion on the printed information in the ARRL Repeater Directory as related to Metrocor. ARCC and UNYREPCO disagreed with the printing of unconfirmed information. A plan is needed to force the ARRL to accept information from N.F.C.C.
ARCC has been petitioned by Sussex County N.J. to do the coordination in that area of N.N.J. a discussion followed on the necessary criteria for the acceptance of such a request. It was suggested that at least 50+1% of the trustees in the area would be necessary.
A motion was made that "Sussex County’s petition for Representation by ARCC is conditionally approved in that the Board has found that the County is not represented by a recognized coordinator and that more than 51% of the repeater trustees in Sussex County have requested such representation. Final approval will be subject to cross recognition and the rules of ARCC and the Bylaws as amended. The motion passed.
Roger Purdy W2NWL volunteered to fill the position of Secretary until the next election.
Treasurers Report: Treasurers Vince Bardsley, KB3OM reported $3739.36 on hand.
